Latest updates from CCS
CCS designed, built, installed and commissioned the complete NGSA Test Cell behind Collins Aerospace's next-generation electric thrust reverser (elecTRAS™) programme at its new Wolverhampton Engineering Centre of Excellence. High-speed, high-force servo actuation, multi-axis motion control and profiling, dynamic fault injection, fully programmable power supplies, the control cabinets, real-time data acquisition and our CCMachina operator software: the whole machine, end to end, on Delta Motion RMC and Beckhoff EtherCAT.
Read the Full ReportThe newest member of the Daquire® family is a standalone bench instrument that measures LVDT and RVDT transducers and drives a servo valve or electric actuator in closed loop from one box, with front-panel or browser control and logging to a USB memory stick. The electronics are proven: 8 kHz acquisition at 165 µV rms noise (15.1 effective bits), two-channel LVDT excitation matched to 0.1%, and a ±32 / ±80 mA valve drive. It is the upgrade to our DAXES® box, the midnight runner, for running hydraulic or electric test sequences, and the first two instruments are being built now.
See the DAXES UpgradeCCS is proud to announce our partnership with Delta Motion Control, becoming trained engineers and official distributors for their precision hydraulic and electric motion control systems. This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver complete turnkey solutions for servo-hydraulic test rigs.
Read MoreCCS has developed a custom portable test instrument for Collins Aerospace for RVDT sensor validation in the field. The instrument provides a quick and reliable way to verify sensor performance without returning components to the workshop.
Read MoreA new automated test bench has been delivered to Honeywell Hymatic for cryogenic cooler performance evaluation. The system provides comprehensive testing capabilities with full data acquisition and reporting.
Read MoreCCS has completed a modernisation project for BAE Systems, updating an existing flow test bench with a new control system. The upgrade brings modern data acquisition and control capabilities to proven mechanical hardware.
